Camden: Finding America’s Fallen will be a one-hour documentary about soldiers who fought and died at the historic Battle of Camden during the American Revolution. Using battlefield archaeology undertaken by Historic Camden and bone analysis and DNA collected from the soldiers’ remains, the film will reveal the identities and personal stories of these ordinary soldiers who gave their lives to help secure our nation’s freedoms. It will also use modern genealogy tools to trace living descendants of the men, and explore the significance of the Battle of Camden in the Revolution. Produced by WNET and Impossible Factual, with the participation of Historic Camden, the film will be distributed as part of the national, primetime forensic history series Secrets of the Dead. |
