The mission of the CMEC is to research and promote Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy and methods, provide a program of study and resources for a liberal education, and create a community that grows as person, parent, and teacher. Our central resource for studying the arts is our Truth, Beauty, and Goodness (TBG) curriculum. TBG provides a suite of resources to help CMEC members and community leaders develop excellent art and music instruction for their students. With a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities we will deepen and extend our reach by creating three new artists, composers, and song lesson guides, along with their music playlists and artist prints, hold three virtual meetings specifically for community leaders, three term instructional videos, and seasonal newsletters to reach 100 TBG community groups supporting over 1,000 children across the country and 5,000 children through our CMEC membership.
